Sabon Type Specimen Book
Typography 1, Fall 2021
The outline of this project was to create a type specimen book showcasing the unique aspects of a selected typeface.
The font I chose was Sabon, a highly legible serif typeface designed by Jan Tschichold in 1965. Overall, the theme is based off Tschichold's personal designs and type work. He used red, black, and white for his projects along with 45 degree angles. Creating the anatomy page where it shows off Sabon's unique characteristics was my favorite part of this project.
