UMSL Design Culture Now Poster
Typography 1, Fall 2021
The parameters for this project was to create an informational event poster for UMSL's Art and Design department.
I wanted to focus on the layout and figure out how to create something without using a lot of color while still making it stand out. The red is used for catching the viewers attention and emphasizing the dates. There is an option to read it upside down, but the more saturated side should stay at the top to make sure the viewer isn't focused on trying to read it upside down.
